I make these from a flat piece of copper which I cut to shape before putting through a corrugating machine. I then manipulate the grooves to create the shape. They all come out slightly different. The enamelling is really tricky, particularly as they need to be enamelled inside as well as out. I usually use a liquid enamel for the first coat, then add colours on subsequent coats. Holding them to do this is difficult, and then they have to be balanced in the kiln without falling over.
